This past weekend after the week of the field-trip, my roommate and I went to a nearby peak and went up about 3,950 ft in altitude during our hike. It was a ton of fun, though my body definitely told me about it afterward.
I ended up in the hospital the next night (I basically overworked my body after not having done any strenuous activity for a while). They got me all fixed up though, and my respect for the universal health care system model now has even more evidence to back it up. Besides the doctor visit, the hike was absolutely beautiful and the views were gorgeous. :)
