The election anxiety has finally lessened, with Biden having won. I'm celebrating that 45 is headed out of office and that now we'll have a president that we can at least work with. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris weren't my first choice, but I've supported them since the nomination. It'll be pretty awesome to say "Madam Vice President" as well. I've celebrated, and I'll celebrate again in January, but for now I know it's time to get back to work. We're still under perimeter lockdown here and the bars and restaurants are closed, though they're set to open the weekend of the 28th. It's getting colder and rainier, though we've had relatively warm weather here for November.
School continues to be stressful and challenging with all the covid regulations, but the kids are great, so that helps. There is talk of multiple vaccines now. Some sources say governments we'll begin vaccinating in early 2021, though I kind of doubt it'll be that soon. They'll most likely vaccinate the older people and higher risk first, and then slowly get to the general population. I can already see all the anti-vaxxers and their ridiculous arguments. Sometimes it still seems to surreal when I'm on a walk and everyone is wearing a mask, even adds and billboards, show people with masks. It's all so weird. We've been wearing masks since March now, almost 10 months. I've never really had a problem with wearing a mask, honestly as a more introverted person, I enjoy it haha. I can make all the faces I want and not have to worry about people seeing hehe. ;) Plus, if it hypothetically were to turn out that the masks in the end really didn't do anything, I wouldn't be mad. I would have worn a piece of cloth over my face for a few years, and honestly, I don't really mind haha, it's not that inconvenient. In my opinion, all the anti-maskers out there are really just missing a few brain-cells. ;)

I happened on your blog today, and was so glad that you occasionally find time to post--and this was such an understatement. The world has changed for the better with the change in U.S. administration and the challenges that ensued to confirm the transfer of power. We will no longer take this for granted.
