So I’ve officially left the north of Spain, and I'm now staying with family in Alicante. To say goodbye to the area I’ve been living in the past few years, my parents, my roommate and I went on a short road trip to Cantabria. It was gorgeous! It was like being in the Rocky Mountains, but at a much lower altitude and having the ocean less than an hour away. I’d love to live there. We really had a wonderful time, and it was lovely way to say goodbye to the landscapes I’ve grown so fond of. The coast was beautiful, the (recreation) of the Altamira Cave with paintings dating back to 36,000 years ago was incredible, and the steep, jagged mountains were breathtaking. Have a look!
