It's hard to believe it's 2020. A new decade! I rang in the new year in Alicante with family and ate my 12 grapes as per Spanish custom. I then promptly went to bed, because we all now I suck at staying up late. ;) Christmas break was much needed and I enjoyed spending time in Alicante and having some relax time. The kids had a 2 week break off school since they also celebrate Three Kings Day on the 6th of January. It was nice to spend time with family and get some sun in Alicante. We spent the holidays eating great food, putting puzzles together, playing games, and eating more food. We also went and saw the new Star Wars--I loved it! I'm a fan of the originals and the new films, yes they have their faults, but I still love them. I think the series ended well, though I will not forgive the writers for all the different emotions they made me experience in a span of 5 minutes there at the end.
Now I'm back in Logroño and school started back up on Tuesday. The kids were all sorts of crazy and wound up, but that's to be expected coming off break. Hopefully it'll calm down in the next few weeks (I can dream, ok). ;) I am so thankful for my family and friends and I'm blessed to have had so many amazing opportunities and experiences in this past decade. Here's to another decade of learning and growing! I wish everyone the best in 2020! Happy New Year! ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Urte berri on! Bonne année! 新年快乐! Comments are closed.
